So, what would happen if I regularly blog about interesting things that show up in Google Trends? Like, every day? We all know that Google bases search rankings heavily on pages linking to you, but is it smart enough to see search trends and actually alter it's algorithm based on that? Can it see that something that is getting searched on a ton is a newer term and may not have a lot of links generated yet? Probably not. But I'll begin my google trends experiment anyway. I doubt I'll make it past a day or two. Just don't have the time....

Who knows about Ted Drewes? The 'anonymous' poster must live in St. Louis. Or know something about St. Louis. Or Ted is bigger than I thought.
